Bugs, birds & botanicals : A Creative Art Journey
Our 8-week term sessions are designed to help children build confidence and creativity through hands-on art making. This term, we will use the Australian environment as our theme, exploring drawing, painting, texture, and colour while learning how to start and complete an artwork in different mediums.
Each child will use an A5 visual diary to track ideas, practise techniques, and personalise their creative process. The focus is on developing skills, staying engaged, and understanding that mistakes are a natural part of making art and can lead to glorious results.
By the end of the program, students will complete a final bug, bird or botanical -themed artwork to be included in our end of year exhibition.
Options are Mondays 4 - 5.30pm or Thursdays 4 - 5.30pm
