Term Art Classes Teens
Self-Expression Through Art
Our 8-week term sessions for teens/ tweens offer a supportive space to explore self-expression through art. They will be treated to classes run by an incredible graphite and coloured pencil Janice Florczyk. Using ‘It takes a village’ as a flexible theme, students are encouraged to follow their interests while building on their strengths and developing a personal style. Janice will move through portraiture, landscapes, animals, plants, architecture and still life, whilst learning basic techniques in drawing.
An A5 visual diary is used as both a sketchbook and journal, allowing ideas to develop freely without pressure for perfection. Lessons focus on creative confidence, working through blocks, and developing an individual artistic voice.
Students begin a final piece by Week 5 and complete their own artwork by the end of the program, with the option to be included in our end of year exhibition.
Hive family savings are available when booking multiple term classes or enrolling more than one member of your household. Please contact us before booking to receive your personalised discount code.
