Join talented and passionate local mosaic artist Tracey Truss from Create n Connect for an inspiring 8 week journey into the colourful and creative world of mosaics.

Designed for beginners and those wanting to build their skills, this hands on course will guide you through the essential techniques of mosaic making in a relaxed, social and supportive environment. You’ll learn about design and composition, adhesives, tile placement, cutting techniques, working with broken china and crockery and all the important finishing process of grouting.

Across the 8 week program, participants will work on three beautifully stunning projects, beginning with a decorative mosaic trinket bowl or bee bath before progressing to a garden wall hanging and a unique recycled crockery piece. The course is thoughtfully designed to allow you to work at your own pace, with projects overlapping, so no pressure is felt.

This suits total beginners as Janice will take you step by step and everyone is amazed by the results. A beverage of choice is included.

Dried Flower Kokedama Workshop

Join the extremely talented and passionate Claire de Ridder from Australind Floral Designs for a relaxed, hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own dried flower arrangement in an extremely on trend kokedama-style ball base.

You’ll be guided through forming your base using natural materials, wrapping it in bark, and finishing with twine before styling your arrangement with a beautiful selection of dried and preserved florals.

Perfect for beginners and creatives alike, this workshop includes all materials and guidance and a beverage of your choice. You’ll leave with a unique piece ready to display in your home.

The gorgeous Claire de Ridder from Enchanted Petals will host a relaxed, creative workshop, where she will guide you to design and assemble your own pressed flower frame using carefully selected florals. Come alone, with friends or with the kids.

Guided by the incredibly talented, award winning, coloured pencil artist Janice Florczyk you will learn the foundational coloured pencil skills and techniques through nature based subjects. Each session focuses on a key technique, with guided practise and take home activities to reinforce and practise. The final 3 hour masterclass will combine everything you’ve learnt to create a detailed bee featuring texture, layering, blending, contract and composition. Classes will run fortnightly from Thursday July 30th - September 24th 6-8pm, with final class 6-9pm. Class open to teenagers and adults.
